For those who must have juice and too lazy to wash apples, you could try bottled (shelf stable) juices. Black River is a brand that comes to mind. As far as I know, it's a Canadian brand. They come in various fruits including black cherry , unsweetened cranberry (too sour on its own but nice with Perrier etc in summer), apple, etc. I think they are Cdn sourced but not positive. Other brands like Lakewood and, I think, Sarah's, are US based. Can sometimes be found in health food section if not on regular shelf; also sold in small bottles in some convenience stores. They taste much better than those horrid little bottles of OJ etc that you can get in convenience stores.
You can also try non-alcoholic apple cider. Look for the somewhat opaque ones, usually in plastic containers, often found in markets or health food departments, sometimes frozen. they are very nice, better than plain apple juice IMHO..Sugar is a naturally occurring substance in all fruit juices. It doesn't have to be an added ingredient to be a sugar. The sweeter the fruit, the more natural sugar, so amounts may vary among fruits of same type. Some juice or "drink" manufacturers will add sugar in order to make all their batches taste the same. Rougemont, which I believe is a Quebec company, uses apples from different countries to supplement Cdn product when insufficient local product available. Added sugars are sometimes labelled as sucrose, glucose, fructose, dextrose, maltose, etc.
Thank you very much for your information, may I ask, which juice ( you introduced) are not from concentrate, prepared from 100% fruit ? I eat or drink something healthy.

It'll say on the label "from concentrate" if it's from concentrate ...
Thanks, I checked the labels, it seems that only found 100% Orange Juice and not from concentrate. All other juice are from concentrate or added water, sugar and something else....
I also eat strawberry, grape, orange fruit..., but not often.

The apple cider is not from concentrate. I am not sure about the others, but the Black River ones are all 100% juice with the possible exception of cranberry - always read labels carefully for cranberry as most brands have added sugar..
"From concentrate" is not always a bad product. If other criteria are met, you might consider some even if made from concentrate, but I would agree that the OJ and grapefruit in this form is usually not pleasant.
Remember you can always juice your own oranges using a citrus juicer. The oranges with the shiny smooth skins and heavier weight (more juice) work best for this. You'd need to acquire a juicer, preferably an electric one as they do a better job than the manual glass ones. You can choose to make your own when oranges are available from your preferred country. No concentrate, no added sugar, and very fresh!

Interesting article.
Florida orange juice is made with Mexican and Brazilian oranges, at least for the most part.

Nice idea on those apps. I've tried everyone I heard or read about. all of the nice but at best misleading.
The last one was one where you scan the UPC symbol that links to verified databases.
I scanned a 1kg jar of Kraft Peanut Butter. The product is made in Montreal by Canadian labour with imported peanuts. The product label shows a large "Prepared in Canada" Maple Leaf label. The app said it's imported. Just one of many similar incorrect results.
So, read the label. If it doesn't say anything like Made/Assembled/Produced/Prepared in Canada then it may very likely be that it's Canadian content is the aroma of the shelf it's sitting on ...

For the last few years, I've played the game of buying Canadian. Actually, more like not buying American Made. Made/Prepared/Assembled/Produced in Canada with Canadian labour is OK regardless of the corporate ownership.
At this point, my USA products are limited to Zest Bar Soap, Pantene Shampoo, Tide Laundry Detergent, Cascade Dishwasher Detergent and Rold Gold Pretzels.
My wife's indestructible 2016 Subaru is from Japan. My very destructible 2019 Acura is from Ohio. My previous Acura's were from Japan and very dependable ...
