Yes it looks like the tariffs are coming.
Is Mr.T losing respect worldwide and with in USA?
Will it be such a mess he will be scrambling to keep his head above water?
Will he have an unexpected death?
Does he really have full support of his party and followers? Will Canada take measures to be less dependent of the USA.
Will Canada find other import and export markets?
Will Canada make it easier to trade inter provincially? What does @usephrase plan to do?
I can not answer your questions because I do not know much about. Do you have the answers?
I read news for the purpose, I will NOT buy any stocks or investments before the tariff things are finalized.
I do not know much what Trudeau and the premiers did on tariff threat, but Trudeau did go to the meetings for global climate, Ukraine, hocky games...
I do my part, buy Canadian and boycott American. I do what I can do. That's all.

We have in place:
1. Buy items that are from Canada. Then secondly from any country other than USA.
2. Have a very tiny bit slack for products from blue states.
3. If you want oranges, if none offered from non American sources then buy California oranges but not Florida oranges.
4. Buy from Canadian retailers before from a USA retailer. Like buy at Rona and not Home Depot. Our first target to not patronize, is Starbucks for quite a few reasons.
Yes there is an impact to Canadian workers when you don’t patronize a USA retailer located in Canada … but the message needs to be sent. And our personal impact is negligible. But would be nice to hear that USA clothing stores, restaurants etc. are less profitable in Canada.
We will be tweaking as time goes by.

For cryin' out loud, just don't buy ANY oranges. It's not like they are essential to life. Just buy fruit from another country of origin. Vitamin C is Vitamin C.
One of the reasons Canadian autonomy and independence are so weak is that we just cannot muster even the smallest amount of resolve to (gasp) exercise some discipline. This why those stupid boycotts of Loblaws or anyone else are worthless. We can't stay away from them.
Thankfully, we are not alone. The Americans lack the same inability to sacrifice. They are currently freaking out over the shortage of eggs, due to the bird flu epidemic. Instead of just substituting another meat for eggs, they just keep shoveling out heaps of cash for eggs. They can't even wait a few months for supply to recover. Nope. Gotta have eggs now, whatever the price.

In all honesty, we stopped buying OJ at least 15 years ago, probably longer. I haven't missed it, but thought I would. It's just a habit, not a necessity.
We stopped buying it when we realized it is an unnecessary sugar in our diet. You can get the vitamin C from lots of other sources; the rest is just sugar, nutritionally speaking.
We do buy citrus fruits from time to time. Depending on time of year, you can get them from South Africa, Israel (Jaffa oranges), Morocco, Spain and elsewhere. Actual fruit is better for you than juice because it contains other nutrients such as bioflavonoids - and you will almost certainly consume less sugar eating a single orange than a glass of OJ.
Enjoy a Canadian apple!
(Caveat - diabetics may keep OJ on hand for emergencies. Ask your dietician for alternatives.)

President's Choice Orange Juice
I checked the Ingredients in President's Choice Orange Juice ( 100% pure Orange, not from Concentrate), sugar is not higher than apple fruit. Most of fruits have higher sugar.
I need 1 cup of Orange Juice everyday, President's Choice Orange Juice prepared in Canada, I guess the oranges are from USA, but Loblaw is seeking new suppliers and local supplier amid tariff threat.
Are there alternatives to Orange Juice? I need a cup of juice ( 100% pure , not from concentrate) everyday.

Are you certain that you 'need' a cup/day or do you just 'like/want' a cup/day?
There are plenty of alternatives. I know of no specific dietary requirement that can only be satisfied by OJ. Do you have one?

I like my OJ too. Even when diluted with a clear Food-grade flammable liquid .... 🙂
I've read many times that much of the Canadian supply of oranges for Canadian juice comes from Brazil. I buy PC OJ prepared in Canada not from concentrate. Oasis is another brand I know of.
PC apple juice also prepared in Canada not FR concentrate. All Allen's juices I've seen say from concentrate

BTW... I gather Florida and California don't do as much in juice as they used to. So thing about alternating insufficient and excessive weather...

Shopper Drug Mart, they sell Simply® Orange juice ( made in where?), PC Orange Juice ( Prepared in Canada) , Tropicana ( Product of USA), these brands are 100% pure orange, not from concentrate.
I will check if they sell PC apple juice prepared in Canada not FR concentrate.
I am lazy to wash fruits... A cup of Orange Juice is the only thing I take Vitamin C everyday.
I went to Giant Tiger today, I was surprised that almost all fresh vegetables and most of fresh fruits are from USA, Why they do not sell products of Canada ??? I want something made in Canada, not USA. I did not buy any today. I can not live without vegetables.

For those who must have juice and too lazy to wash apples, you could try bottled (shelf stable) juices. Black River is a brand that comes to mind. As far as I know, it's a Canadian brand. They come in various fruits including black cherry , unsweetened cranberry (too sour on its own but nice with Perrier etc in summer), apple, etc. I think they are Cdn sourced but not positive. Other brands like Lakewood and, I think, Sarah's, are US based. Can sometimes be found in health food section if not on regular shelf; also sold in small bottles in some convenience stores. They taste much better than those horrid little bottles of OJ etc that you can get in convenience stores.
You can also try non-alcoholic apple cider. Look for the somewhat opaque ones, usually in plastic containers, often found in markets or health food departments, sometimes frozen. they are very nice, better than plain apple juice IMHO..
Sugar is a naturally occurring substance in all fruit juices. It doesn't have to be an added ingredient to be a sugar. The sweeter the fruit, the more natural sugar, so amounts may vary among fruits of same type. Some juice or "drink" manufacturers will add sugar in order to make all their batches taste the same. Rougemont, which I believe is a Quebec company, uses apples from different countries to supplement Cdn product when insufficient local product available. Added sugars are sometimes labelled as sucrose, glucose, fructose, dextrose, maltose, etc.
