I recall your earlier comments about your difficulties with Lighthouse, Loonie and I appreciate your viewpoint; however, my experience with Lighthouse has been good.
Soon after its inception, I bought a GIC from Lighthouse through my GIC broker, which does not require a membership share. I did have to call Lighthouse management directly for an inquiry about my investment and my call was returned.
Perhaps the luck of the draw, but so far, my experience has been satisfactory,

Previous thread about them, from January last year, was not encouraging.
Poor customer service back then: Calls not returned. Cheques for GIC purchased not cashed after a week.
Please write your comments in the forum.
