Sometimes things change, including the rate on your Wyth High Interest Savings Account.
Hi,
Our rates reflect current market conditions and can fluctuate throughout the year. We think it’s important to be transparent and let you know when those changes will happen. Effective December 17, 2021, our Wyth High Interest Savings Account (HISA) rate will change from 1.40% to 1.55%1.
We understand how important interest rates are in achieving your goals and we remain committed to providing competitive rates to help your money grow.
If you’d like to explore more options, visit wyth.ca or download our mobile app and message us any time.
Thank you for choosing The Bank That Does.
Sincerely,
Wyth

1Interest is calculated daily on the total closing balance and paid monthly, up to the account limit of $150,000, based on the rates per annum, as offered. Interest rates are expressed annually and may vary from time to time. No interest will be paid on amounts over the account limit of $150,000. For more details, please see our Deposits Disclosure.
Anybody interested in documenting the sign-up process similar to what I did for Neo Financial? https://www.highinterestsavings.ca/2021/05/neo-financials-account-opening-process/
I don't know if I'm ready to open another account, although with that rate, I might have to.

They now have an app in Google App store, but it seems to be half baked. I installed it, but when trying to sign for a new account, after agreeing with their privacy policy:
The app sends back to what appears to be a web page where you can only sign for Wyth HISA account with the browser.
At least, they do have presence in app store now.

This may be a limitation for some.
