I ended up getting 3 terms , all insured of course, and 3000.00 put in my acccount from the promotion. I needed some long term Gic's anyway, and because they are so fast and efficient I will use the wealth one savings account also, it pays 2.3.
I want to tell bloggers that customer service at wealth one is outstanding.

That's good to hear. WealthOne Bank of Canada is a bit of a "sleeper" in that they do use the MemberDirect online banking platform that so many credit unions and banks use (i.e., Alterna, Canadian Western, Motive Financial, Coast Capital Savings, Assiniboine CU, Outlook Financial, Entegra CU, Implicity Financial, etc.), which has, in my view, the most detailed transaction narratives and the nicest customer e-Statements. I think they might even use Temenos as their core banking system, too.
I think they can also link your additional bank accounts electronically, their savings account gives you so many free online bill payments, and they could potentially even add unlimited & free Interac e-Transfers easily. With nearly as many branches as Oaken Financial and Tangerine, they're definitely one to watch.
Hopefully, they can grab some sizable market share from HSBC's once core Asian clientele.
Cheers,
Doug
