Does anyone by chance know the bank number and transit number for the North York branch of Wealth One? I'm trying to link an account there to Tang.
I'm a pretty good Google jockey but can't find the info anywhere. I suppose I can always try phoning them next week but if somebody already knows, that'd be great

It might be easier to link your Tang account at Wealth One, if you have a check from Tang.
This is the procedure that has worked best for me; and for W1, if you deposit a check for $1.00 from another FI into your W1 account, that account will automatically be linked at W1.
Then you simply pull / push from W1.

....Wealth One.... They don't seem to have anything that great and from what I read they might be a bit shady.
From my perspective, the negative commentary has largely been of a political bias.
W1 deposits are covered to CDIC limits
They periodically offer promo savings rates, such as they have now at 2.5% until September 30. No one equal or higher at this time that I am aware of.
Their online banking interface as well as their mobile app work effectively.
Their customer service by telephone is efficient and reliable.
When necessary, the manager is available for discussion on the telephone and issues or questions are resolved immediately in my experience.
If and when their interest rate is surpassed by another FI, it's a simple matter to pull the funds and place them elsewhere, perhaps Hubert at 2.35%.
Pretty good place to deal with, when it suits my needs.

Transit and bank number should be the same for everyone that has Wealth one.Curious. Why did you choose Wealth One. They don't seem to have anything that great and from what I read they might be a bit shady.
I originally signed up for a Wealth One account back when they were offering 2.50% on HISA balances when nobody else was. After they dropped it to 2.00% my money walked but I never closed the account. I like to spread things around, so for the past 7 weeks or so I have been availing myself of their 2.50% promo that expires 9/30.
I hear you about the shady stuff and I read all that stuff too before I ever opened the account in the first place, but I don't care because (1) there is no public evidence that Wealth One is not in compliance with all Schedule I banking laws and practices, and (2) by limiting my deposits there to $100K, even if a nasty surprise arose, CDIC has my back. The same logic applies to my account at EQ Bank.

Hope that helps.
That's great info, thanks -- exactly what I needed to ping my account from outside.
And thanks to everyone else here who chimed in.

I was not looking to link my WealthOne account before, but I noticed that, in the mobile app, when you tap on the account, there is a secondary button to tap called "account details". This will show you the transit number, institution number and full account number. It's all there.
I verify that the 80080 is Vancouver branch.
