What Mordko said ⬆ (Post #119).
What concerns us is Not the Chinese people, their country, or culture !
What Does concern us is the ruthless communist dictatorship that the people of mainland China are forced to live under.
To suggest otherwise, is just a Big Load of 'Horse Excrement' !

To mordko,Your comment just proved the anti-China, anti-Communism agenda and narratives work. By the way, none of your accusation about Chinese government is true. They are just CNN, BBC, CBC, CTV and Christia Freeland want the world to believe.
Suspect that having members of my family murdered by the communists did more than CBC to form my views on communism.
Your attack on Chrystia Is particularly unfair. This government has been doing everything it possibly could to swipe Chinese election interference claims under the carpet.
This government forgot to notify my MP (Michael Chong) that he was being targeted by the Chinese regime.
This government took so long to ban Huawei from Canada’s G5 network that our allies no longer trust Canada.
A former minister, having just retired from this government, joined W1 without wasting any time at all. If anything, the government took too long to act on W1 and likely acted when it had absolutely no choice. Chinese autocrats won’t get a more friendly face on Parliament Hill than Chrystia Freeland’s.

The government slapped W1's hands during the time when the allegations about China were in the news, just a ploy to make it look like they were acting on the China stuff, in my view. W1 still retains its legal right to operate as a bank in Canada, last time I looked.
mordko, I agree completely with you. Also I see no sustained anti-China narrative by CBC or any of our institutions, etc, in fact our society has been guided inexorably "leftward" for decades now and most of us know what awaits us at that end of the political spectrum.

Everything you argued about Chinese goverment are just one sided "story". You call maintaining national security "murders Chinese students'; you call deradicalization CIA back eximists "puts millions into concentration/labour/re-education camps"; you call defend national security against CIA/MI6 backed color revolution "destroys democratic governments in places like Hong Kong"; you call not supportive US NATO's proxy war against Russia "supports mass murderers in Russia"; you talk about China "does a lot of other unpleasant things worldwide." not mention US NATO invaded and destroyed more countries than anyone else. What a hypocrite!
