All GIC rates now match Oaken. Rates range from 1.80% for 1 yr. to 2.60% for 5 yrs. Rate for 6 mos. is 1.50%.

Observation:
Both TD web broker and CIBC Investor Edge are offering 2y GIC at same rate on the GIC page (not the GIC broker rate, but the direct purchase) here. Thats rare as the rates are good for registered accounts as well. Usually the broker will take 25-50bps off the rate.
For example, there are a few names with 2y GIC at 1.9-2.05%. 2.05% being EQ bank.
