Apparently it's been around since October, but I'd never heard about it until now!

Currently it offers a rate of 3.75% -- curiously, it is the same as ING Direct and 0.05% lower than Citizens Bank (which is always 0.05% above ING Direct). Remember, Citizens Bank is run / owned by Vancity...

I just clicked on that link to the jumpstart savings account and it shows the interest rate as 2.00%.

shows me .8%.

Too bad....thought CU's in BC were finally starting to get in the game. Would like to use them, but fees and interest rates suck.

Rick, it looks like you got inadvertently baited into responding to Peter's original post from 11 yrs ago by hotmony's inopportune post in this outdated thread. Hotmony should've started a new thread.

I must admit that I was wondering what the heck Peter was talking about referring to ING & Citizens when I clicked on it , but I clued-in when I read all the following posts to check the dates.
