Still nothing for us either. This is the second Tang special offer we've now missed out on, in a row. We must have somehow got into their Bad Books. They don't want our $$$ ... so be it.Oh well ... our SAs @ Oaken are still getting us 3.00%. Better that than Tang's 0.35% regular rate, any day.
C'est la vie ❗

Missed a promo so account was sitting at 0.30%, but called in and they were able to make a new decent offer over the phone for 90 days, after asking about how much would be transferred in, and looking at the account etc.
So worth a try.
Interesting to hear this. In the past, they never cared how much I brought over to give me ANY bonus rates when I never got an emailed bonus offer savings rate. For example, I called with a zero balance and said I would bring around 50K same day. They said no deal. Maybe too small to matter? I guess it's CSR dependant. What rate did they give you?

Initially they said there was no offer available, but asked in another way, and they looked into the account, and said 3% was on offer. But for sure its something automatic in the system, and not up to the CSR.
Random idea, if a person never gets offer, they could try contacting a manager or ombudsman or something in the bank?
But probably a moot point, since rates are looking to be low for years to come now due to Agent Orange damaging the economy.

With the jump in inflation from 1.9% to 2.6% in February, I wonder if that means the BoC rate will rise, once again. After all, CPI was the primary focus of all the previous inflation-fighting increases.
But, with the tariffs and economic contraction will probably have to keep interest rates low...stagflation. Although apparently, if it gets really bad they might hike interest rates?

It seemed that the director at TD said the 2.6% inflation was caused by the HST waiver during the holiday.

I just logged into my Tangerine account and saw I received a 4.00% offer (balances as of April 2nd; offer from April 3rd to June 30th). This beats the 3.5% my wife had from Simplii (March 4th to June 30th) and the 1% bonus from Motive (on top of the current Savvy Savings account of 2.25% for a total of 3.25% as of today; minimum $10,000). I pulled out all my money in first week of March from Tangerine to put into the Simplii and Motive offers but will be putting it back in now.
