You should go to a better cinema in a better neighborhood...
But no doubt, the movie business is dying, as we now have numerous alternative that is far cheaper. In fact, I have only go to a cinema 1 time in 2019.

I had to think about it for a while, but I don't think I've been to a movie theatre (a.k.a. Cinema), in at least 10 years.
I guess that's why I couldn't stop laughing, when I heard about this latest (& desperate) promotion from Tangerine.

Good grief! What theater did you patronize 30 years ago? We enjoy a night out at the movies and some films just need to be seen on a big screen. I have never seen or heard anyone choking the chicken or having intercourse in a theater, and junkies aren't paying admission to shoot up in the dark when there are so many McDonalds around where they use the washroom for free. People making a disturbance or being inconsiderate of everyone get reported and escorted out promptly. Maybe you should give one a try...things have progressed since the eighties.

So you just get to upgrade your overpriced popcorn for free, that's all? Then this is more of a promo for Cineplex & not us.
Or do you get a further discount on the price of the Tuesday ticket for Tangerine customers? Doesn't look like it.

I never buy overpriced drinks & popcorn at the movies. I usually have dinner at a nearby reasonable restaurant where the meal is the same price as a drink & popcorn at Cineplex!

This latest so-called Tangerine Promo, ain't worth the popcorn bag ... let alone the popcorn that's in it❗
Tangerine needs to go back to its roots, or completely fold into Scotia Bank and be done with it.
