Signed up for Tangerine Debit Card Bonus payout 3 months ago.
Conditions applied 20% bonus to 60 days of spending up to a max of $400, i.e. spend $2000 get $400
Bonus was paid 30 days after end of bonus period as stated.
Learned about the Tangerine promo from this forum so happy to report back a good news story.

Did the same with their mastercard 2 months ago. 10% for the first 60 days, limit $100. Payout won't be until January, so fingers-crossed.
What bothers me is there is no indication I will actually be receiving this. I can see the 2% / 1/2% rewards on the credit card page. I can see all the savings account bonus rates I've accepted and received. But I don't see this accepted promotion anywhere.

I was worried about the same thing, sometimes the offers sound too good to be true. In my case when I signed up I called a CSR to confirm I am doing the steps for meeting the conditions required to be eligible for the offer. Verbal conversation was at least reassuring.
When I met all the conditions, I received an email indicating what offer I had 'unlocked' or what I was eligible for. This was my documented proof or 'contract'.
Tangerine has followed through on their end of the contract.
I'm a happy customer with Tangerine so far.
