I will keep using it the same I have been doing so far. Only for Cash purposes and withdrawals. Not really for Credit Card. And Brim also saved the day for Foreign transactions (And Slack which I don't have - QC resident) so no need to use Tangerine's CRAPPY card which failed me not once or twice but many times in Mexico and Central / South America for withdrawal even from Scotia Bank ATMs. My other card (PC Financial) worked perfectly fine but that incurred fees which I wanted to avoid by using Scotia Bank ATM.

I used Tangerine on trip to Australia. It worked well with no ATM fee. I used Scotiacard on trip to UK. It worked well. Not in Ireland. Feature not available when I visited Mexico years ago.

Well, I never carry or withdraw cash in Europe 🙂 It is always 100% CC. Maybe that changes when I start doing Eastern Europe.

Years ago I used 100% CC. When these features appeared I was willing to give them a try. It changed me a little. Take a token amount of cash to a foreign country. Just in case cash is required for payment. Use CC 100% otherwise. If I needed cash I knew I could withdraw from select ATM without a fee. In Ireland I tried BMO Debit card for POS and ATM. No fee. The other big 4 banks charged a fee. Have fun.

Tangerine says "Your Client Card Is on its Way" under Insights. It should arrive in two weeks that is Nov 20th.
My Insights just has an offer to upgrade to Visa debit in 5 minutes. Didn't. Don't want it, Don't need it, Won't use it if one shows up. My original Tang debit card I never asked for, has been sitting in a drawer since I received it. Never used it once.
