Do you mean saving account? They don't allow people to see saving account in ABM.

I asked this about four years ago of then-ING DIRECT Canada staff and was told that it was because the Savings Account was intended for savings only and not for ABM use. They said they're always evaluating changes, but this doesn't seem to be a priority policy change to them (they could literally "flip a switch" and make it effective). It's definitely an annoyance but, at least you can link your Savings Account as an External Account with other FIs for next-day EFT transfer in/out processing (perhaps with no hold periods on up to $5000 transferred in, depending on your creditworthiness) and also, with ChequeIn, can now deposit cheques directly to the Savings Account via smartphone/tablet app.

I'm more focused on Tangerine focusing on other annoyances right now, like restoring functionality to Customer Statements (online and PDF versions) to show the ABM location of a Scotiabank ABM used for a deposit/withdrawal, increasing the number of linked External Accounts from 3 to 5 or 10 and, finally, fixing a long-standing bug whereby "bonus interest" is included in the previous month's "year-to-date interest paid" calculation instead of the current month's. If anyone else wants to suggest these fixes to them, it would be greatly appreciated.

Doug, I just try on Scotia ABM today and they seems to allow people to deposit and withdraw directly from saving account - seems like they still hear our voice, just like the last log in feature.

When I called a Tangerine customer rep today for another matter, I asked him if it was possible to deposit or withdraw money from a Tangerine savings account at Scotia's ABMs. He said it was not, only the checking account is available. I’m just passing along what he said, I haven’t actually tried to access my savings account at an ABM.
