How do I get this promo? Today is supposed to be the last day, but I'm not seeing this promo anywhere in my Tang dashboard / insights.
I currently have a savings account with promo interest until October 31st. Is that why I'm not seeing this promo?
I opened a Tang specifically for the promo interest. My 'main' institution is RBC which is garbage and I never leave my money there.
My promo ends the end of this month, though, so I'm trying to figure out what to do with the money in that savings account before then.
I'd like to avoid opening up new bank accounts and moving money around that much, so. The only promo I'm seeing is opening up a GIC for a year or whatever for a 4%'ish rate, but I'd prefer stuff that isn't locked-in.

The offer of 4.3% until December 31 is targeted. If you did not receive an e-mail or something in Insights, then you were not selected.
RBC is currently offering a one-year variable, prime-linked GIC that's paying 3%. Cashable anytime after 30 days with accrued interest.

I see...okay.
That 3% rate is not very good with RBC, plus I don't want to invest with RBC. I am trying to move away from them as I am strongly against their heavy investment in oil projects and expansion.
I'm seeing this in my Tang account, but it's already past Oct 10 so I'm not sure if I can still get this or what
"For a limited time, you can earn 4.00%* when you open a 180 day non-registered GIC and fund it by October 10, 2022.
Open your Account by choosing a 180 day non-registered GIC term."

Yes, it is past the October 10 deadline. You're likely going to get the current 3.4% for the 180-day non-registered GIC now.
If you can commit for around 180 days, that would be long enough for the first two quarters of a Hubert one-year cashable term deposit. 4.25% for the first three months and 4.35% for the next three months.
