A household family member received the 1.4% promotional offer. I called Tang asking if any such offer was available for me. The CSR asked if we shared the same household and address, to which I replied in the affirmative. He told me that they were able to extend offers to same householders, but had to schedule a return call from another department.

I got the call today and was offered the same promotion, but also a different promotion of 1.3% (that included USD accounts.)

Just food for thought of those seeking matching offers from Tangerine.

A few years ago, Tang was telling us the same story, and they acted on it.
However, the last time I asked them to extend the same kind of match to both of us, they refused and made out like no such policy had ever existed.
Once again, Tang is hit and miss.
