It is a really low ball despite the offered promo period is longer than typical 5 months. The bank is fishing.

Pretty lame that their promotional rate doesn't even match the leader of the pack right now (Motive 4.1%). Tang's (& Simplii's) rate games need to offer me at least 1% premium to entice my funds to flock there (and out the end)... if they can only match I'll stay put.

Mine is already out at %5.5. The savers beating up has started already on a %0.25 reduction from bank of Canada. They are hungry for free cash sold on credit cards with %21 interests..report billions and billions quarter after quarter profits for the banks. They want it back badly.
