Making a JOINT Account - Process?? 28 hours Locked Account?? | Tangerine Bank | Discussion forum

I have a Joint Savings account with Tangerine and also a Joint Checking account with Tangerine.

On both I am the Primary holder, & other person is Secondary holder.

Now the Secondary holder has opened a Single Savings account and wants to make it Joint with me. So they are Primary holder on it and I am Secondary holder on it.

When we do that by calling in a 28 hours lock will be put. Both have to be present on the same call and an email link will be sent to me within 0.5 hours requesting me to confirm the Joint account request. Which I have to approve.

Will the lock only be on that account we are making Joint? Or other accounts we have & our logins will also be locked for 28 hours?

Because I need access to my other accounts during the 28 hours Lock. I am OK with the Joint account which we are making to be locked for 28 hours for security reasons.

But not the other accounts under our respective logins, which have nothing to do with this account.
