On page 4 of T2, there are three equations to calculate the deductions.
I do not understand "Number of days in the tax year before January 1, 2018", "Number of days in the tax year after December 31, 2017, and before January 1, 2019", "Number of days in the tax year after December 31, 2018", and "Number of days in the tax year".
If my tax year is June 1, 2019 to May 31, 2020, what is the answer to the above?sf-cry
Thank you!

As your tax year did not start before 2019, you skip those calculations & use the next section "Tax years starting after 2018" by entering the applicable A,B,C, or M amount.

Your tax year is June 1, 2019 to May 31, 2020, i.e. your tax year starts in 2019. The section you are quoting is only for tax years starting before 2019, i.e. you don't fill that section out.

You fill out the next line for tax years starting after 2018.

(Oops, GoJetsGo beat me by a minute, but we're saying the same thing so that's good.)
