I usually just wait for "enough" feedback to gather about a bank in general and for someone to request it. Any objections (other than their Tangerine- and PC Financial-like normal rates)?

I'm for it. If you are going to add them I suggest you also add Meridian Credit Union as their Good to Grow high interest account has higher normal rates and is Canada wide as per my previous posts.

I think that in the current climate where (a) all the desirable rates are promotional; and (b) there are a lot of promotional savings account deals, we should expand our thinking about which FI's are suitable to be included. Otherwise, our attention will not be drawn to the best rates, which is the whole point, isn't it?
I would want to include any institution that is national in scope or that doesn't require one to attend the office in person. Single-province or excl QC need to be included. Some will work for some, others for others.
Perhaps we need a Forum topic for Promos, other than listing them on the right hand side. That would help us to make sure we were aware of them, even if they have restrictions.

We do have a Promos page (https://www.highinterestsavings.ca/promotions/) that I manually update, although I might still miss stuff there. Perhaps we could add the ability to "tag" a thread as a promo? That way we won't have a problem about posts being split between the bank-specific forum and the promo forum.

Yes, I think that might work, Peter. The promos page as it is sort of gets lost though, being isolated from the forum, but, yes, I suppose there is still the issue of double-posting to both forums.
I just think that since this seems to be the major pursuit of forum members right now, it should be easier to catch.

Zag Bank has now been added to the comparison chart! I'm open to adding Meridian Credit Union if others agree.
I haven't added the promo tagging yet because I haven't found a good existing solution yet. I need to find some time to test a few more options out.
