I note that this site has a dashboard page, accessed from the link at the very top of the page. (https://www.highinterestsavings.ca/wp-admin/) I'm not sure why there is such a page. I look at some of the info there and it reads like this:
------
From David Moir on Tangerine Bank (formerly ING Direct) #
a:10:{s:20:"rate_customerservice";s:1:"1";s:20:"rate_accountfeatures";s:1:"1";s:10:"rate_rates";s:1:"1";s:9:"rate_fees";s:1:"3";s:14:"rate_interface";s:1:"1";s:15:"comment_howlong";s:13:"over 10 years";s:14:"comment_whyuse";s:42:"fees at other banks, previous good service";s:16:"comment_whatlike";s:21:"previous good service";s:19:"comment_whatdislike";s:47:"service and ability to use bank accounts set up";s:7:"general";s:495:"I change …
------

Are we supposed to make something out of this gibberish? If it is supposed to be useful, it certainly needs some format corrections. Perhaps Peter can explain?

It's just the WordPress backend.. The gibberish looks like the forum coding..

Peter WordPress needs an update!! ;)

WordPress 4.2.2 is available! Please notify the site administrator.

Yatti420 is right -- it's the WordPress back-end, which is not useful for forum users. I should remove that link. And yes, it's time for an upgrade! The front-end will still look the same after the upgrade, though :)

This definitely confused me as well! Thanks for sharing. By the way, Peter - I did notice upon logging in that WP needs updating again sf-smile

Any idea why I am 'forgotten' (almost) every time I access this site? I use Firefox v46.0.1 (not latest but I love this version due to some add-ons not working on later fox) and all is set up to accept cookies, keep cookies, etc.
Sometimes Firefox is real bitch and PITA but I am still using it due to add-ons making it very good.

I think that if you don't close your browser, it keeps you logged in for 2 days. If you select "Remember me" when logging in, then it will keep you logged in for 2 weeks.
