When I logged in today at Simplii. It took me to a "register for online banking" page. (Instead of the normal account info page). Then it proceeded to ask me to set up a telephone password. Then to set the password verification questions. Why did it do that? I've already got them from before.
The tricky part was that it disallowed my password verification questions and told me that I should go through the "Forgot Password" procedure.
WTF!
I started over and logged in again and same thing. It said I had to follow the "Forgot Password" procedure.
I called Simplii and got put on hold.
So for the heck of it, I decided to try my online login once more and this time I got in. What the heck is going on?
Anyhow thought I'd post the experience on here to let folks know, that there's some weird thing going on with Simplii's authentication algorithm.
UPDATE: I just realized what the problem may have been. When you login, there is the big red SIGN IN button. But see the "forgot password" link, it is perilously close to the Sign In button. I was in a rush, and my mouse may have been off, clicking the "forgot password" instead. On the other if this *Was* the case, why did it disallow my Password Verification Questions?
