re Simplii first Interest payment under the promo.
I couldn't make sense of the amount that appeared today as 'Promotional Interest', so I called them, and a CSR explained that their "banking month" ends on the 27th, thus I was seeing less than what I calculated.
That was news to me, but maybe others are aware ? If not ... now you are. 😉

Lately, the months for interest end on the last Wednesday of the month. See the recent attempts to verify Simplii's interest calculation.

Simplii has not paid monthly interest using calendar months for years now. At one point, the months for interest ended on the second to last business day of the month.

Do not need to calculate interest, amount was 100% correct, I checked for several months. If your amount is different, you need what is wrong on your side, not on Simplii or Tangerine side. ex: you misunderstood term and condition, start and end date....
