Hi everyone. I just opened a PC Financial Interest Plus account and Chequing account, and I have a couple of questions.

(1) Can I withdraw cash directly from my Interest Plus account from an ABM, or do I have to first transfer the amount I wish to withdraw from the Interest Plus account to the Chequing account?

(2) In order to use my PC Financial bank card to make Interac payments, can I withdraw the payment amount directly from the Interest Plus account, or again, do I first have to transfer the amount from the Interest Plus account to the Chequing account, and pay from the Chequing account?

I'd really appreciate any response you can provide.

For both of your questions...you must first transfer from Interest Plus to No Fee Chequing. You cannot withdraw directly from Savings at ATM or Debit from Savings (Interest Plus) with PC.

Note: That transfers from Savings to Chequing take one day to process. Ex. Today (Mar 23) transfer from Interest Plus to Chequing, it will not be in your chequing account till tomorrow (Mar 24). Transfers can only be initiated through telephone banking or online.

Transfers from Chequing to Savings are instant and can be done at the ATM, online, or by telephone banking.

Hope that helps

Thats the very thing I hate about PCF. The 1 day delay when moving money from Savings to Checking. (note: the other way around is Instant)
