Received an e-mail from PC Financial extending the 2½% offer on new deposits for two months, from August 31 to October 31. 
Updated terms and conditions are at 2½% Non-Registered Rate Promotion Terms and Conditions.

As an added benefit, you will earn 2.5%* interest on those deposits plus any new deposits from September 1 until October 31, 2017

I'm already enrolled under their last 2% offer, but I did not receive any notification of an increase as noted above. I guess I am not one of their targets.
Anyway, already getting 2.5% at Ideal until year end (one of the few to get into the narrow window of opportunity offered by Ideal).

Could be just a delay in e-mail. I'd give it a few days.
Also, check the Junk or Spam folder. Sometimes, messages about money can get misclassified as junk e-mail.

Does anybody know how to check if that offer is real just by looking at your account after login. As far as I can see there is no info inside my account page except previous e mail offer.

Joebart, I haven't seen a way from looking at your account online but I did get an email notice about the extension. When I accept these promos from PC I always get an email confirmation which I keep as a record until the bonus interest is paid into the account.

I called PC, they said since I was enrolled in the first offer from May to August, I was automatically enrolled in the extension from Sept to Oct and didn't have to sign up again.

Yes, the email finally arrived making the 2.5% offer extended in Sept/Oct.

The promotional interest earned up to Aug 31 will be paid in September, based on whichever of the 2% or 2.5% promotions you're on, and then paid again in November, based on the 2.5% total rate, for promo interest earned Sept 1 - Oct 31.
