Lots of varied expertise here. I'm wondering if anyone has good knowledge of LIFs, particularly in BC. I have some specific questions that I can't find many answers to, either here or elsewhere on the web. Before I ask them, maybe I'll just see if anyone out there has good knowledge on the subject. Thanks upfront for any insights.

I don't have a good reference source, but I do have experience with setting up a LIF in BC. I can say that unlike in some other provinces, one has to put the entire amount of he LIRA into one's LIF. No 50% transfer to an RRIF is permitted.

We did get the info we needed and the right account set up, etc. Let me know if you need any info; happy to see if I can help.
