"Earn 1.5% Interest
Simply open your first RBC High Interest eSavings account by 3pm EST on March 31, 2022 to get 1.5% interest (on balances up to $1,000,000) for 3 months
Earn interest daily on every dollar (it’s paid out monthly)
Maintain any balance up to $1,000,000—there are no minimums and no monthly fee
Access your money easily—transfer money instantly online with no fee to your RBC High Interest eSavings account, by phone (self-serve) or at the ATM to other RBC personal account(s) in your name"

Alas, after three months interest will be measured in pennies. Might be useful for some though, for a short term.

This is not as good as the offer RBC had last year.
Last year, it was 1.5 for 3 months followed by 2.0 for next 3 months.
Unimpressive.
Beware five dollar withdrawal fee if not transferring to another RBC account.

You can still qualify for this if you've had previous RBC accounts. The key is that you must not have had this particular "esavings" account.

However, I wouldn't bother. Wait for another year, when the offer is, hopefully, sweeter.
