Hello everybody,
I received a letter with my Peoples Trust online info for Christmas. It looks like they are beginning to convert TFSA accounts now.. Here are some screenshots of the online profile.. I'm quite happy.. Worth the wait.. Similiar to ING in terms of security.. Adding accounts still requires sending a void cheque however I believe this can be faxed and/or emailed now etc along with the required form.. Overall very clean and simple interface.. No clutter so should be easy for anybody to use.. Zooms very well in Chrome.. Only browser I've tested so far.. Your account will be "Transferred" to a clean TFSA with new member and/or account number.. Not sure if paper statements are still sent after setting up online.. Looks like its free to transfer etc just don't exceed limits on the other end (chequing account etc).. Screenshots below..

ING has similiar login safety features (DoubleSafeTM).. Hubert has email confirms.. PTC follows ING's route with the custom image and banner.. You can set a custom banner with TD Canada Trust (EasyWeb) aswell to achieve similiar security..

Here are the account transfer screens.. I've been linking my accounts with People's Trust by sending void cheques via email.... Email seems to be the best way to communicate with PTC staff.. I think I have called once regarding the online TFSA process.. You cannot add accounts like Hubert where you simply input chequing info.. If you email PTC they can add it quickly however..
Going to be interesting to see if a run to PTC occurs forcing rates lower.. I hope not!..
