Linking PT e-Savings account to external account

I filled online application to open Peoples Trust e-Savings account. I'm about to mail the cheque for my initial deposit. The cheque will be drawn on my everyday chequing account at a big bank.

Question:

Will PT link the e-Savings account to my chequing account so I can do online transfers?

Or do I have to request this separately? (and provide a void cheque)

Write "LINK" in the MEMO area on that deposit cheque and PT will link this account to the e-Savings account.
