I just sent Oaken a message with the following notifications from the last few days (mostly logins to test their notification system) ...

Their security notification system is definitely On-The-Fritz. And add to that, hardly anyone (including Oaken) seems to be concerned about it.

Almost 24 Hours now, and Still no Oaken security notification since my
last login ❗
I'd call in and complain verbally, but with their reputation for telling lies,
I decided not to bother wasting my time.
The term 'FUBAR' comes to mind.

Dean. I logged in today. I received an email promptly. I forgot I should be timing it.
Maybe the IT resources have been working on as per below. Kind of too late. I spoke to Benjy in person a good 8 years ago and said it was coming soon. He has left and the new owner has been making some nice enhancements.
A little late as I have some well developed work arounds (to avoid Oaken), that are unlikely to change .

I just tested it and i recd both notification from within app plus text message re login within a couple of minutes of signing in thru the desktop.

Yes ⬆ ... but as many of us have reported here, it's response times have been totally Random lately. Sometimes it can take seconds to minutes, and sometimes it can take up to 'Days' ❗
Oaken's security notification system can't be relied on anymore, and there is No indication that Oaken is doing anything about it.
And when some of us here email Oaken to give them examples of the lag times and express our concerns, it can take them over a week to respond (giving us only 'Milk Toast' answers), or they don't bother to respond at all.
Be Warned . . .
If someone is able to make an Unauthorized login to your Oaken accounts, Oaken's security system (I use that term lightly now) might not notify you about it, until Several days later ... long after all the damage has been done !

Unfortunately, I see that instead of regarding this as a Serious Security Issue, they only see it as an; 'inconvenience'.
At least you got a Micky Mouse response, instead of Nothing.

and

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Oaken's 'timing' of their emailed Login Security Notices continues to be Very Erratic ... anywhere from less than a minute, to Well over a Day.
If they Really are in the process of fixing it, they're sure taking their time !

I logged into my Oaken accounts yesterday, but did not receive the usual Oaken security notice email. But ~17 hours Later, I finally received that email notice this morning.

Today when I logged into my Oaken accounts, I received the security notice email in <2min. Given the recent past performance, it's anyone's guess as to how long it will take the next time.
The Bottom Line is; Oaken's Security Notification System can't be relied upon any more.
And so ... it's best we be aware, and 'Govern Ourselves Accordingly'.

Perhaps this is an indication that few people turn on the login notifications ...
I just turned on Text Notifications in addition to the Email ones to see if they're more reliable.
