What are Oaken's bank and transit numbers? Can I link Oaken's savings account from my LBC account? Thanks.

Not that I am aware of.

Alternatively, log in at Oaken, navigate to -transfer- then -link external accounts-...select Laurentian Bank, enter credentials and in two days your LBC will be listed at Oaken.

LBC Digital uses Laurentian Bank institution# 039 with transit# 06031 and the 12 digits bank account numbers starting with 8100xxxxxxxx.

My recollection from having asked about this at Oaken, is that they do not have these credentials available for use by clients to link Oaken at other FI's; therefore you cannot push funds into Oaken, you can only pull or push funds on the Oaken side.

My experience in doing so has been excellent, where a push from Oaken at 8 am arrives at my big 5 hub account at 5:30 pm the same day.

I don't recall the timing of a pull, but I don't think the timing was an isssue.

Stephen

I tried to link my LBC account from Oaken, but failed. When I was asked to enter LBC credentials (shown as Access code & Password), I entered my LBC login information (email address & password), and was denied. Does anybody have the same issue? Thanks.

LBC's site was "temporarily unavailable".
For more info navigate to LBC thread.

Thanks, but that seems not the reason because right before I tried to link LBC account from my Oaken account, I successfully logged into my LBC account. I will try to link again.

Looks like the incorrect bank was selected. Are you trying to link to a traditional Laurentian Bank account that includes physical branch access or to a digital-only LBC Digital account?

The access code and password terminology is from the LBCDirect online banking site for traditional Laurentian Bank account holders. That's not the same as the LBC Digital online banking site.

Thanks, but there is only one Laurentian on the list.

That looks like the Flinks account verification service.

I think Flinks supports the traditional branch Laurentian Bank accounts only. Not the digital-only accounts from LBC Digital or B2B Bank.

The LBC Digital and B2B Bank accounts have a different site and Flinks may not know the URL to those sites.

Thanks. That explains why I can't link LBC Digital from Oaken.
