I visited Oaken today and signed up for a 2 yr GIC--2.1%. When I asked if there is any flexibility in the rate, the nice young man offered an additional 0.05=2.15. Now I feel badly that I didn't ask for an improved rate in March when i got another GIC. Just wanted to share with the group so you don't make the same mistake that i did!!!
