Long time lurker for about 3 years now; just registered and joined this site. Searched the site but couldn't find a "Welcome" or "Introduce Yourself" forum for new members.

I really like the wealth of financial and related information here. The information is really up-to-date, literally to the minute and easy to find. As a result, I've changed the way I do my banking and investing idle cash. Thanks all!

Welcome to the forum. I too really enjoy this forum. One thing though is I've found myself opening accounts at banks I never would have known about beside of this site chasing the best rate... It can become addicting. Lol

I joined this site in 2008 and I didn't visit often between 2010 and 2017, but I've been regularly using this site for the past 1 to 2 years and the people are friendly most of the time. Thanks for joining us. Feel free to comment... Everyone's insight is always welcome

I am now looking for a couple of decent options for investing USD either savings (preferred) or GIC. Could someone please help me find this information?

Hubert has a USD savings account at .75%. Not great!
