If you forget to cancel before the anniversary date, you will be automatically slapped an annual fee. Customer service refuse to reverse that fee even though it's just a few days after you are charged (the 2nd) annual fee.

STAY AWAY FROM NEO credit cards. They aren't that great anyway!

Thanks. Sadly my wife got sucked into a Bay card through these guys. Now I have to deal with the cancellation aftermath. She knows better but couldn't resist the 15% off offer. I'm pretty sure it won't happen again.sf-yell

Thanks, I have just closed mine. I was not using it anyway. Used it only once, when I applied for it, for a nice discount at Bay.

To clarify: NEO also has cards with no annual fee, there should not be issue with those.

Stay away from NEO credit cards when they are simply abiding by the agreement between you and them? Kind of harsh?
