I just called and ask if motus would guarantee a rate because I'm transferring a large amount to my B&M bank and it may take a couple of weeks in all to get the two transfers made.

They guaranteed today's rates for a month.
Good customer service in my opinion!

I just had the same service with Peoples Trust. I had 2 5yr GIC's at another FI that matured & I filled out the paperwork to transfer both RRSP's & Peoples 5yr rate at that time was 3.25%. Four or 5 days after starting the proses & before the other FI had released the funds, Peoples Trust dropped their 5yr rate to 3.15% but Peoples is still going to honor the 3.25% rate for me once they receive the funds. .
