Woke up this morning to find an email from Motive stating I was overdrawn due to a bill payment , please deposit funds to cover by 11 AM or payment will be reversed. This is the 2nd time I received this email this year, even though I have overdraft protection. Amount was less than a couple hundred, and not even close to my OD limit. I called and had it corrected, emailed and expressed concerns, and got a reply that made no sense ("Unfortunately the system does not show things very accurately at time"). Now I am concerned about using a system that can't seem to handle OD's. Don't use OD very often, and usually for a day or two to cover me until paycheck gets deposited. Has anyone else had this issue? I like Motive and they have good rates and great CSR's , but don't need to be freaked out my account has been compromised because they can't process OD's properly. Maybe I'm over reacting, but seeds of doubt have been sewn. Did apply @ Simplii for the rates, but maybe start using them for more day to day banking.

On the bright side, at least they have a mechanism for warning you. I don't think most FIs would do that.
