I've had a couple of people ask me to open the discussion about Canadian Direct Financial, so here it is!
Does anybody have any experience with Canadian Direct Financial's online banking and services? With a 2% savings account rate (as at June 7, 2009) it is definitely one of the leaders.

They are awsome to deal with and they are at 1.95 for Savings right now. Not sure why they are not listed in the comparison chart?
And AGAIN:
"Q: I am a Quebec resident. Am I eligible to apply?
A: At this time we are unable to provide services in French, therefore, we cannot offer our products or services to residents of Quebec.
As a CDF customer you can still access your accounts while in the province of Quebec through online banking and ABM networks."
How comes ICICI is the only bank offering services in Quebec without have a french branch? I received all their brochures in english and they hell no they don't have a french customer service. But personnaly I do not care at all about the langage they will contact me, I always speak in terms of interest rates anyways.
The day you become free is the day you work for fun.
I've added Canadian Direct Financial to the chart and removed Citizens Bank. Note that CDF is similar to ING in that what you can do with the account without paying fees is quite limited and thus it is best paired with a more full-service account.
