April 27, 2018. TD just raised their 5 year fixed mortgage rate by 0.45% to 5.59%.

I know that the banks look at the long term yield curve BUT 0.45% is a lot considering the BOC recently left our rates unchanged. This adds even more pressure to our fragile economy. Where is the tipping point?
