Well all the worries I had about Meridian were for not!

I'm pretty sure you meant to say, "for naught," or the variant "for nought." This means "for nothing," as naught/nought is an older term for the digit zero.

"For not" doesn't really make sense here unless it was an existing, well-known idiom.

For those who use Meridian CU, I have a question. If one uses "Bill Payment" (Chequing Acct), is the time lag the same as for the slow electronic transfers? I think posters have said it takes around 3 days for electronic transfers out to arrive at the external linked account. I was wondering if Bill Payments go any faster than 3 days - perhaps 2 days?  

Does anyone have an answer to this question that was asked awhile ago.?
