That's just a quirk with the Quick Transfer feature. If I go through the non-quick way, I can specify "immediate" and it happens immediately.
It's not like what PC Financial/Simplii used to do with transfers from the HISA to chequing.
I recently tried the «quick transfer» for a simple internal transfer from HISA to checking and it took over 10 minutes to register. Next time around, I tired the non-quick way like you mention and my transfer was put in queue for the «next day». Fortunately, next day was in 20 minutes, but both ways are problematic. I wrote to them and they said; the system can be slow at night. Great. I want to pay my bills now not whenever.

I still have an account with LBC Digital that I don't use much, but have things changed for the better? Internal transfers placed in queued, impossible to access your account especially at night, sluggish operation, account not immediately updated following a transaction, slow bill paying (took up to four business days), slow Interac e-Transfers. Can anyone report?

I do the occasional transaction, seems a lot more stable to me than at the beginning. I don't do bill paying or interac but have had no issues with the other things you mention.
I don't have any issues either using it maybe 2 times a month for a me2me transfer only. I don't use it for any internal transactions and I tend to use it during business hours.

Very unstable tonight (and B2B too, feels like the same sign in place - ?), took numerous attempts to log in and make transfers in 3 separate accounts, plus phone number offered is not staffed on weekends. Not good.
LBC Digital. LOL, perhaps they need financial assistance to help them keep a reliable platform...

According to their press release Laurentian Bank of Canada reports 2021 results, Laurentian Bank is going get rid of the system behind LBC Digital that seems to built by a bunch of newbies. The LBC Digital accounts will be migrated to their more mature LBCDirect online system:
Personal Banking Segment Impairment
… In addition, the Bank has also previously commented on the fact that it currently has two digital platforms, resulting in an inconsistent customer experience. In order to simplify the structure of the Bank and improve the customer experience the Bank will consolidate its two digital platforms into one. …

I had both B2B and LBC Digital accounts. Logged in the other day and it's still the same awful platform. As their HISA has been sitting at 1.15% from June 2021, I thought it time to put both accounts in the dustbin. I was an early adopter to both banks when their interest rate was industry leading, seems those days are gone.

I tried to sign up myself and my wife a few days ago. For me the process failed on 2 tries saying there was a problem with my identification with Equifax. Without any changes, on the 3rd try I was successful. For my wife however, after 5 or 6 tries it still did not work and we had the same error message advising us to contact Equifax and make corrections on our Equifax file. BTW, that process takes about 3 weeks and requires submitting documentary evidence to Equifax by mail. We contacted Equifax and downloaded our credit file. There was no error. It was completely accurate. We also spoke with an agent at Equifax who also confirmed that my wife's credit file is 100% correct. There are no errors. No corrections are required.
She said the problem is at the bank. I contacted the bank and just got the run around. We have now opened a complaint with the Ombudsman for Banking Services (OBSI). This has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life.

LBC and B2B platforms have never felt stable to me, haven't really noticed a change either way over time. I do have slightly better feel with Chrome browser vs Edge, that's all I can add.
I agree LBC platform is third rate. It must have been bought used from eBay. I only use my LBC account to do push-pulls between big bank accounts.
