Hopefully, they will be more reliable afterwards:

We’re making things better. LBC Digital Online Banking will not be available from this Saturday at 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM Sunday for scheduled updates.

Site today May 9, now shows for EVERYONE zero dollars in all their bank accounts.

@Doug @Norman1 care to comment

Edit: Logged in 10 min later and bank accounts showing up again and I have money in account. This bank is still highly unreliable.

Looks like their online banking site is having issues.

Balance on the account tiles seems to be correct. But, lots of errors like the following when trying to view transactions:

There is an error with our service. Kindly contact Laurentian Bank for further assistance at 1.866. …

There is an error in our service. Please contact Bank's HelpDesk.

Some improvement in the error handling. The site no longer logs me out and forces me to log back in after an "error in our service".

Do you think LBC Digital has offloaded their IT offshore to save money, thus all the quality control issues ?

May not have been offshored. I'm told there are plenty of inexperienced software people onshore here in Canada too! sf-frown

The issues don't seem to be quality control issues. They look more like bad design.

Whoever did the LBC Digital banking system didn't seem to be experienced. techno and I found that there is no source shown for the pre-authorized debits from and direct deposits to the LBC Digital chequing account. Just says "deposit" or "pre-authorized debit". How stupid is that?

Must have had software people who never looked at their own bank statements to see who had been taking money out of their account!

i don't get complete clarity on source of transfers from my TD account either. Some entries are clear but others are not. I have to go through and annotate the statements.

The pre-authorized debits and direct deposits in my TD chequing account show the originator's short name and a Standard 007 three-letter transaction code abbreviation (like INV for Investment).

The info is included in the Automated Funds Transfer files exchanged between the Payments Canada members.
