Just received an e-mail from LBC Digital:

Effective December 8, 2023, Interac e-Transfer® functionality will no longer be available on the LBC Digital online banking platform. If you have any pending Interac e-Transfers, please accept them or request the recipients to accept them no later than December 7, 2023.

I got that too. You'll have to push the funds out or pull the funds out from another FI after that. I guess they're getting ready to phase out LBC Digital.

I don't understand that. Interac e-transfer is not the primary method of push-pull (me2me) transfers. That is via linked external accounts (which is all I use LBC Digital for).

That email also says "To view your account documentation, including the new Chequing Fee Schedule, visit b2bbank.com/accountinformation". When I click on the fee schedule it gives me a PDF dated 2019 where most things are free... has anyone found their new schedule? (where I'm guessing things are not as free)

This was my first thought, too, but then I realized I park some of my money at Canadian Tire bank, which also does not have Interac transfers.
So, I decided to "downgrade" LBC to my Canadian Tire bank status: can use them to park funds there if rates are attractive, but not for funds that must be available instantly.

Not sure Interac e-transfers and Xfers to a linked account R same thing... prior is not avail to high savings account (requires a checking account)

Thank you for the clarity. The OP didn't indicate the email was specifically targeted to a chequing account.
