Picassocat, I'm with you. I joined two days ago and at least got the link to my other bank done. Can't log in. I could once this morning but I couldn't do an EFT. Was just trying 25 bucks to see if it would work. No luck. I called them twice. I told them I had a pretty big amount of $$$ to deposit but if all this crap is the case, I'll go elsewhere, even if the interest rate is lower.
Like you, I want to do more than just "park" my money too.
So, LBC, get your act together. I'll keep the 30 cents you transferred to my other account to set up my HISA account. But I won't do anything else.

I'm also new, not even a week in with them.
How long have they been having problems?
Why are they apparently working on the platform during peak hours?
Every day so far, I get bugs or no access.
The Phoenix Bank of Canada is their new name.
I’m sitting in front of my computer and I just decided to move out. I will keep my account open and monitor their progress on this page here, and when they finally get it right, I may be back. The trouble I’m going thru isn’t worth my while. Sorry LBC/B2b

You and me are on opposite sides of the fence, I want to move all of my money out, all of it. It's 3 pm EST and I can't access since this morning.
Well, thank God, I was only trying 25 bucks. Perhaps I'll make it 5 bucks. Even if and when it works, I might think twice about transferring $ 50,000 to them. Not if I'm wanting to buy a new car or something and I have to go through all this crap to get my money.
Picassocat, I might be thanking you for what you have said about the frustrating time you're having. I called them about Interac transfer not working and the agent said he could do it over the phone. I told him that wasn't the reason I was calling. I don't want to have to make a phone call (I'm a stutterer too - hate phones) every time I want to transfer or do some other transaction. I want to be able to sit here at my laptop and be able to do the banking functions I want. He didn't say much after that, so I hung up.
I do still belong to Eq Bank and might stay there. At least things work there. Plus, how long is the 3.3% LBC rate going to last? I bet a very short time. At least Eq has the 2.3 % and sticks with it.

pianoman8849 Every day is a struggle. I wanted to e-transfer money out to my broker and still can’t do it and the markets close at 4pm (it’s now 3:40). For the time being I will do my daily banking with Alterna, I’ll get 2.20% BUT everything works with them all the time. When LBC/B2b sort out their difficulties, I may be back. They owe their client an apology and keeping us informed would be nice (as to when this banking nightmare is going to end). Good luck to you.

Well if that's what you "bet" why would would you consider them in the first place?
Tangerine....Canada's best bank. LBC.............Canada's 2nd best bank.
Hubert.....worst bank in Canada.

I do see these ERROR messages. They pop up at random times at random features of the web site. Can't go to Interac menu one moment, can do transfer just fine some time later. Same with viewing transactions, etc.
I suspect their Web services run at or above capacity, overwhelmed by high demand. So, give them some leeway and just try some other time of the day.
My plan is to move funds to Laurentian HISA as soon as my external bank account is linked, and leave them alone for a while.
Hopefully in few weeks they'll figure how to manage demand. Also, I do hope very much they won't drop offered HISA rate as an easy way of addressing web site capacity issues.
I just got my account linked yesterday. That went well, but trying to do an Interac e-transfer is another matter. Trying to get into the page to do so, I get this: "There is an error in our service. Please try again or contact Bank's HelpDesk for more information."
This makes me nervous because I was planning to put a sizeable amount of money into LBC but I'm getting ready to call them and just cancel everything regardless of the 3.3% which will soon be whittled down.
I'll stick with EQ. They are consistent and everything works when I want it to.

For the time being, I will only keep loose money in this bank, money I can «park» like a piggy bank, test the platform on a regular basis and monitor their progress (or lack of it ) on this forum. I need a full service bank that is operational ALL THE TIME. I really want them to succeed, their interest rate is more than interesting and we need the competition out there, look what happened to Tangerine, their interest rate is like any other big bank now, about 1%. I no longer have any money there and why would you? Maybe LBC/B2b rates will send a message to others, competing rates is always good for the consumers.

PS: I knew what i wanted to do wasn't an Interac transfer! Examined every corner of the page... On the right side of the screen, you have a yellow rectangle called "quick transfer", one has to click that to proceed to the "inter-institutions transfer" that at least some of us want (for amounts bigger than those managed by Interac). Made plenty of screen shots during the process... after reviewing and clicking the Transfer button, a popup showed up with the details and these words "your transfer request has been successfully received". Only five minutes later, the amount could be seen in my LBC hisa! In the "result" popup there's also a note saying "received funds may not be available before 5 business days", but this looks standard to me. Surprisingly efficient, clear and smooth considering what i was starting to get used to...
I enjoyed seeing in the result popup the options clearly offered of printing and/or saving it... I would have enjoyed it even more if those buttons were working... ("it seems a popup blocker or some other reason made it impossible to do" was the approximative answer)... Some more sceenshots and even pics then!
After I was logged off, I logged in again; found no trace of the "result" popup, but the amount was still in my hisa:). Also in Recent transactions the "event" can be seen, if i click it i'm showed a "transaction details" page with mostly technical numbers.
In short: it seems that despite the Interac transfer sub-menu not working, the "quick transfer" is already functioning (at least part-time, except for the printing/saving of the transfer request resulting popup, that I couldn't perform).

Have anybody here succeded yet in transferring money into LBCdigital AND is SEEING the amount in their LBCdigital account? I know the process at clearinghouse takes usually a couple of days, but i don't even know if anybody succeded in creating an "order" in the first place.

I have both Laurentian and b2b working with considerable deposits.
Moved my motive out for now and will tranfer interest back to that account as it accumulates.
I figure the motive account will come in handy if and when laurentian and b2b drops below 2.8%
Mind you my Simplii os also earning 2.8% at the moment but they are very sneaky.
I moved my funds out of that account but they go back to end of october and whatever you had in there at that time does not get the interest. SO for me the first 200k only get 1.1% before it jumps to 2.8% thereafter. I told them no deal because no such games at motive. Motive will always be my backup account when special offers end because they are most consistent with their rates.

Turn off every extension (in my case in chrome) before loging in. Web-boost extention will not load the login page properly and add blockers will prevent you from downloading the pdf transfer confirmation file.

Anyone else experiencing persistent error messages and wrote to LBC customer service about it? What did they say?
I'm also still seeing persistent error messages in LBC Digital on a daily basis. In each and every online banking session. For example - I managed to successfully log in recently and just wanted to change my verification questions. After submitting my questions and answers from within my online profile link I got an error message twice. Two weeks ago I transferred in only $80 just to test their system. I've become so unsatisfied with LBC unreliability that I transferred out the $80 back to my other bank.
I'll just continue to monitor their website every now and then and don't have any plans to transfer in even a small sum of money. Yes fine 3.3% is an excellent rate and probably the highest for a HISA in Canada at this point in time but it's too much of a hassle dealing with the unreliability. Until LBC straightens out its affairs I don't think I'd like to transfer in even the smallest amount.

I understand you clearly paver, if you can’t trust this banking system how can you entrust them with your money?

I agree, picassocat. Reliability and trust go hand in hand. From what I have heard, the banking systems in many European and Asian countries are very advanced/efficient. Apparently their systems are at least 20 years ahead of Canadian and American banking systems. It seems that LBC Digital is about 30 years behind. It's nearly the year 2020. I wonder why our national banking system, and the system of our southern neighbors, persistently remains in the stone age to this day?

"I transferred out the $80 back to my other bank."Hi Paver,
Glad to hear you were able to get your money back. I was starting to worry that one can only transfer money in but not be able to transfer the money back out.
Hi COIN. Thx. Yes it's possible to transfer funds out but each page within LBC Digital online banking loads rather slowly these days and one may or may not get those usual error messages while trying to set up the transfer.
