I received my Motive (Canadian Western Bank) T5 Thurs. Mar. 6, 2025.
Now I just need all of my T5's to be uploaded to CRA's My Account. So far CRA only has 2 of my 6 T5's showing.

I have zero tax slips in CRA My Account. "You have no tax information slips issued in the year 2024" it says.
I thought most will be there by now. I expect T5s from Scotia, Motive, EQ, Tangerine, Oaken and few more uploaded to CRA.
I've got all my T5s in the mail, in printed form, in February.

My Accountant tells me that the CRA has given all the companies an Extension, and we're not to expect complete reporting (T5s, etc.) at the CRA, any time soon.

Sorry, that's all I know ... others may have more details

There is no extension. Just penalty relief for certain filings that are late because of changing capital gains inclusion rate. See CRA: Update on the filing of information returns.

T5 filers can have relief up to March 7. T3 filers can have relief to May 1.

Could be the 450 temp CRA layoffs, too.

T3 filers can file May1, but we still have to submit our tax by Apr30 still ?!
The capital gain flip flopping is causing some headache for most tax software, and mess up the efiling is my understanding at the moment.

I suggest this is worth a read https://lrktax.ca/cra-clarifies-tax-deadlines-for-taxpayers-affected-by-capital-gains/ Note that 'impacted T1 filers', i.e. those with cap gains/losses on Schedule 3 do not have to file until June 1st.

The Ongoing Issues section is especially enlightening. I am simply hoping I will get my two T3 tax slips before April 30th so that I don't have to deal with either the T1135 question, nor the spousal 'not impacted' question.
