Hi, all, newbie here.
I've been with Implicity for a while now (discovered through this site).
Just a heads-up that there has been an issue at Implicity with me2me transfers. Between May 4 and May 6 I made a total of 3 transfers totaling over $2000 to my external bank; to date, none of the transfers have arrived or been posted. Implicity is constantly trying to get an answer from their provider regarding the situation, but so far to no avail. I am not the only one affected, but they seemed only to be aware of problems for May 4 and 5 until I spoke to them.
Very concerned as this is likely to put me in in an overdraft situation. Implicity rep is doing another (manual) transfer equal to the total of the missing ones, which she assures me will be successful, and they will cover any incurred overdraft fees.
Has anyone else been affected by this situation?
Thanks.

I didn't do any Implicity transfers on those dates, but I did one yesterday and it worked. Implicity is pretty good with customer service, so I do believe they will reimburse you if any fees are incurred. Sucks this happened but I am sure they will resolve it soon. They are like the middle man because all the me to me transfers is done by credit union central so I am sure they are waiting on them.

I have an implicity account for GICs only. But I do transfer interest to Accelerate and it can go through same day or next. I assume it is because they are on the same CU system in MB. I don't think did any on the dates mentioned.
I like them because I do everything by email and they have stepped it up by using secure email.
I had to push them to get a response re POA and a not sure if the response is valid.

Another good reason to spread your money around, I suppose.
I know I really ought to reduce the number of financial institutions I deal with but incidents like this make me really unwilling. What are you to do if that's where most of your money is and you only draw it down to pay your bills? No doubt Implicity never anticipated this, but they won't be able to process thousands of transfers manually.
I hope this disease doesn't spread to other MB CUs. Any tech geeks out there who can say how likely this is?

Feeling very relieved at this moment. Just received 3 SMS deposit alerts from my bank. All 3 transfers have landed and been posted.
The fact that I had to call Implicity to ask the whereabouts of my transfers does concern me, as does the knowledge that they were only aware of problems on May 4th and 5th, but not the 6th. Implicity should be keeping their clients informed, even (especially) when the news is not good. Were they just planning to wait until everyone called or emailed?
Guess I'll have to do a reverse transfer when the manual one arrives.
This experience has been disconcerting, to say the least.

Glad to hear your deposits arrived finally even if it was a week late.
Question: The 6th was not a business day...so would that be the 8th they were also not working?
