So, I decided I was getting antzy and tried the new site/integration early.

Hmm...my account data seems to be intact, but I'm also seeing my Mom's account data in my profile. Now, I have PoA over her accounts, but is that supposed to be happening?

I can't call and ask Hubert as they're not open until tomorrow.

Hmmm...

Don't think so, POA needs to keep own accounts seperate.

I also just logged in with my new 16 digit number to onboard the Access credit union site. My profile with my new ID/password was created and all my accounts and balances are intact.

All good for us too.

Interface OK and more modern vs Hubert's.

Hubert account nicknames not transferred. Access accounts "nicknaming" smoother and nicknames apply to joint holders.

Other functionalities not yet explored.

So far so good ...

My wife and I have both an Access CU account. We spoke to Hubert on Fri and they said that we can just use the Access CU username/passwrd. This morning, I checked, my wife's accounts are ported exactly to the pennies but nothing was ported for me !! I only see my Access CU accounts ! I'm waiting to speak with Hubert when they open.
Note: I've received a ID from Hubert but my wife didn't -- they asked me to ignore it

I tried logging in to the Hubert website, and it re-directs me to the Access website login, which is expected. Since I already had an Access account, my Access login worked. The Access website shows me both my Access and Hubert accounts. Everything looks very functional, only feature which would have been nice to have would be maturity dates of GICs showing on My Accounts main page.

Or the "next interest date", especially for the 12-month quarterly GIC. You have to go into the detail for each GIC to see that, as opposed to being on the All Accounts summary with the old UI.

Note: void cheque info for setting up pre-authorized debits and whatnot now shows the transit# of 44857, as opposed to the older transit 45967. Their FAQ says "Don’t worry; Hubert’s old transit number—45967—still works!", but you may want to keep an eye on any autodebits you have set up to make sure they go through.

Some of the site infrastructure feels a bit like the Oaken site - username and password entered on separate screens, which both query your browser API for location info (and sometimes are separate domain requests).

I haven't tried it yet, but the AccessCU app on the Apple store gets terrible reviews.

I forgot to mention in previous posts that the Access Credit Union customer support was always very nice when I called them, and they were quick to answer the phone in the past, so hopefully the staff from Hubert and Access Credit Unions will continue the good work. I never had an Accelerate account so I can't comment on them.

Yes, Oaken-like deja vu all over the interface, well beyond just login.

I also agree with the missing maturity and next interest dates. BTW, Oaken does show maturity dates.

The Android app is fine so far with the big except that it's set not to install on tablets. This is a big negative for me so, I'll stick to my desktop.

Did the sign up last night - seemed ok.
However, the site right now just hangs so cannot login -- assume they haven't built enough capacity to handle this sort of load.
After several attempts finally get login screen ... enter data ... spinning triangles .. then says is logging me out ... taking me to logout screen .. never get there.
OK .. 20 min later tried again and got in eventually. (However it got to the do you want to remain logged in question .. said yes .. and it died again)

Curiously I phoned to make a transfer out and got through almost immediately.
Rep said could ask them to do the transfer or use the forms that are connected with docusign. Chose the former. Asked for Instiution and last four digits of account (as opposed to the 3 they used to display) She did not have access to verify the external account list -- had to ask someone else who oked it. Seemed straightforward .. will see how long it takes.

The "do you want to remain logged in" alert has a countdown timer, but it doesn't take down the alert if that times out. So if it has been sitting on the alert and that times out, and you come back later and hit "Yes", you've already been logged out behind the scenes and the "Yes" is bogus and annoying, you'll go to login when you do anything.

I logged in last night and it was quick. Logged in just now and it was time out after couple of minutes and showed a gateway error. Try after a few minutes and was able to logged in but system is pretty slow.

I have a Hubert 3 year GIC which matures today. I know today will be a bad day to call in on the first day of their system migration, so I have set up the instructions to not auto renewal and put the GIC into my HISA. Today my matured GIC disappeared and it did not go into my HISA so I have no choice but to call in.
I was 5th in line and wait time was 10 minutes. Took the CSR couple of minutes to find my missing GIC and he has to manually transfer it to my HISA which may take a day. Just a warning to everyone that your Hubert GIC will auto renew despite you have instructions otherwise.

.
I only have two GICs with Hubert right now, and they don't mature until mid-'24. And I presently have no plans to invest more with Hubert (with their rates right now ... who does, eh❓❗), so I'm going to put off this new Login until the rush dies down ... and the dust settles. sf-smile

With its cashability and quarterly interest payments, the Hubert 1-year GIC is actually quite handy as sort of a second-tier HISA. For money you are a little hesitant to lock down for a full uncashable year at something like Tangerine's current high rates, you can still get 5%+, and if something happens and you were wrong about not needing it, the worst case is losing somewhere between 0-90 days of interest. Of course, the current state where the GIC rate is so much higher than the HISA rate is a bit of an anomaly.

BTW, the main AccessCU homepage is currently displaying a banner "SERVICE DISRUPTION: We are aware of latency issues with our online and mobile banking applications. Our vendor is actively investigating the issue for resolution. We will provide an update as soon as possible, thank you for your patience."
So they may be having some other config/connectivity issues with the changeover other than just high volume of people setting up.

Could somebody provide step by step process to sign up with new site, please? I just do not want to screw up something and then end up calling them.
When I go to happysavings.ca and click on login it takes me to Access site. So far so good.
Now, what do I do with a field 'Debit card number or username'?
I did receive a code from Hubert. Do I enter new username (not registered yet) or something else (code)? When will I be prompted to create new username?
Any help is appreciated.

Using my existing bookmarks.

I can sign into Accelerate using my existing passwords.
I can see, I think, all my investments. Will compare in the next hour.
It appears they kept the existing investment numbers.

I CANNOT log into Hubert using my existing Accelerate passwords.
I get a bad gateway
I get a redirect to another ??
I get into the account and it immediately shuts down.

Now that my funds have been combined, I will be significantly be reducing my investments there.

I have not yet phoned.

The first time you sign up you will need to use the 16 digit code your received in the mail.
Instructions are in this link:
https://www.accesscu.ca/en/personal/convenience/personal-digital-banking

scroll down the page to find Getting Started, then click 'Log in to desktop banking for the first time'

Ok so my records all match. Conversion well done!!!

But a lot of loss in regards to the new web site. The Hubert one was far superior and was user friendly to see an over view of your GIC with term and dates.
