Thanks. Will monitor tomorrow as well. I just don't trust them anymore.

Stat holidays can add a day to the transaction completion time.

I allow 2-3 days for a pull, add a day for the stat.

I could access the website this morning around 10am EST now it's down with Error 502 at 11:50am EST. Since the switch everytime I try to do something (in this case transfer money) there is always a glitch or new limitation I did not know about before. The old online access just worked all the time and had all the features I needed. Sigh

So yesterday I could e-transfer but today I can't - I get a "No Interac® contacts have been set up" but it is setup and it worked fine yesterday (after the site back up). This is a total mess

Does anybody understand why/for what purpose Hubert/Access flagged all migrated savings accounts as "inactive"? My family can't transfer funds between any of our joint accounts despite them having paid interest within a couple weeks back. Have to call in and have them do the transfer. This is 2023, correct? Not 1996?

All these problems make sense when you accept that decisions and plans are made the people trying to increase their profits vs technical experts who are swayed by best practice. There has been no need for most incurred technical issues since the late 90's if you discount the wildcard of greed which rules them all.

So as a wise man once told me, don't waste your mind trying to figure out a logical solution which doesn't conclude that it's about money, it's always about money and the sooner you figure that out the better off you'll be sf-laugh.

Things seem to be so hinky here (meaning Hubert)!!! Yesterday the system was down and today you have inactive accounts. What's next?? Geeesh!!!

No problem here. We just moved money through all of our HISA's with no issue ...

Him: $5 His HISA -> Joint HISA 1

Her: $5 Joint HISA 1 -> Her HISA -> Joint HISA 2

Him: $5 Joint HISA 2 -> His HISA

You do not know about it until you do the actual transfer. Once you pick from/to/amount and hit Submit it throws an error to that effect. Unlike, for instance, at RBC, there is no 'Inactive' tag on the account at Access.

I just tried transferring 1.00 in my non-registered accounts between an Access chequing to an Access savings account, and between Access chequing and savings accounts to Hubert chequing and savings accounts and vice versa, and none of them actually resulted in money being transferred, without any error messages occurring.

It seems like you even have to phone in for internal transfers between your accounts.

Interac e-transfers just error out when I attempt one, doesn't even get to " NO Interac contacts have been set up"

No inactive Hubert accounts for me, at least not last week. I successfully sent an Interac e-transfer from my Hubert savings account.

Interest paid doesn't count as activity that will keep an account active:

20. INACTIVE ACCOUNTS - My account will be considered inactive if I do not complete a transaction or request or acknowledge a statement of account for a period of two years. If my account(s) becomes inactive, you may require me to present acceptable proof of my identity and my address in order to reactivate my account(s). You may consolidate my inactive accounts as you see fit.

My savings account had plenty of transactions in the past year that were initiated by me.

Try doing an internal transfer and attempt an etransfer now, and see if its working for you, if you have time.

I just tried the same thing.

Transfered 0.15

Worked fine here, no issues.

I tried earlier today do an Interac e-transfer. But, all my Interac e-transfer contacts were gone!

Tried again after dinner. My Interac e-transfer contacts are now back.

Looks like the system is not stable. sf-frown I don't think this is a good time to transfer funds. I'll wait until after their staff are back on Tuesday, after their Remembrance Day long weekend.

Thanks for trying ! Thankfully I didn't actually have to make any transfers but I was just trying it out to validate YoHoJo and billybob.

I just tried again. Internal transfers and etransfers aren't working on the desktop browser but both are working on the mobile app.

Thanks for testing it out !Was that on the mobile app before ? Because I could only do an internal transfer on the mobile app, not on the desktop browser.

And, just tried Interac etransfer on the desktop and now working there too. Looks like they're having an unstable weekend.

And, just retried internal transfers on the desktop and now working there too.

Yes I used mobile.

Must have been a temporary glitch!
