Update: after I called Thursday morning, the money still shows in the account right now (Saturday), so nothing will happen until Tuesday (or later) most likely with the bank holiday on Monday. Very slow, not impressed.
I did notice under accounts menu that a void cheque can be downloaded, so I will link with that from my other bank and pull the funds out of Access that way. In my last email I said I would probably leave my TFSA funds with Hubert, but my opinion is changing on that.

Hubert's Integration weekend web page does say "Please allow up to 5 business days to process transfer requests". My experience was 3 business days (see my post #212). You will most likely see your money arrive at your to FI on Wednesday or later. Yes it is very slow compared to Hubert's old self serve way.

The few days wait wouldn't be near as much of an issue to me if there was somewhere on their banking platform where I could confirm that the transfer is in progress and where it is going to. With this process, I have to wait days and hope that the transaction is entered correctly and be fulfilled. Even though the reps at Hubert have always been great, experience has shown me that anytime a human is involved (especially over the phone) the chances of errors increase. If Access can't implement an online way of doing this, it will be the end of what has been many wonderful years of my funds with Hubert.

I have all my external links previously set up, so I'm doubtful they will make any errors if I ask them to transfer out to one of my links. But I would still be worried if nothing showed up after 2 days.

I waited until today to log in to the new platform and found the set up pretty straightforward.
I've noticed a discrepancy between the details for term deposits and my RRSP term deposit.
On the non-registered term, the next interest payment date is clearly identified. On the registered term, no interest payment date is identified, only the maturity of the term, which is 60 months in my case.
What a strange quirk in this new system to present registered and non-registered terms slightly differently.

I hadn't noticed that. I don't have RSP's at Hubert but while my quarterly and multiple year non-reg GIC's show Open, Maturity and Next Interest dates, my TFSA GIC's only show Open and Maturity dates.

If you had an account with both Accelerate and Hubert did you notice that if you had funds in a registered variable account that you will see TWO variable accounts?
How does one transfer out those funds? One transfer or two transfers.
I have not looked into the details as you did but another thought, can you see what your RIF payment will be for this year (if not yet received) or for next year?
I do though keep paper copies of all my GICs that show issue date, maturity date, principal and interest rate.
Personally I don’t see the new system being used, in its current form, one that is user friendly for the DIY investor. The Hubert platform appears to be similar to Oaken but the Oaken one is far more useful. Now only if Oaken could offer Hubert like customer service and vice versa for the platform.

Two link 'extremes' ...
You can't have links to your Oaken accounts but you can to your Access-Hubert accounts, from other FI's.
You can execute DIY transfers to/from other FI's at Oaken but not at Access-Hubert.

GUYS, Check interest earned in September at Hubert. What I see on my account it looks like interest was calculated for 22.09-30.09 ONLY as it is too low for the whole month and as per my calculation matches interest earned for 8 days only.
I agree, my HISA interest is way too low as well. I cannot see transactions for the whole month to see if they put in some of the interest before the transfer on Sept 22. Seems all of my transaction history on Hubert before Sept. 22 is not accessible.
I hope this gets sorted very quickly!!

Same here although I didn't have much cash left there.
I hope the GIC's are OK.
I'm guessing phones will be busy Monday!

They are closed Monday, I hope they get the extra rest before the onslaught Tuesday. I feel bad for the frontline Hubert staff, they are forced into a banking system not at all designed for an online savings bank.
Question... can we do bill payments with our Hubert HISA? And is there anywhere that details if there would be a fee to do so?
If I just started paying all my bills from future maturing GIC's, it wouldn't take long to expend the funds that way with today's cost of living.

I looked up Access Credit Union service fee page, and it only lists a bill pay fee of 1.00 if done at a branch, so you should be fine.

Yes, there are several errors on my account too.
Interest not correct and they cashed a One Year Term at the quarter but they cashed the wrong Term - not the one I asked to be cashed. This is not a good start - very different from past experience with Hubert. Guess I will need to join the crowd and phone when they open on Tuesday (or Wednesday) to try to get this corrected. I think I will just move what I can out of this FI - I do not like the regressive style they have taken.

Access credit union is also open Saturdays from 830-4 Central Time, so I wonder if you can call up on a Saturday and talk to Access customer service, if you're not opening a new GIC. eg. if you are withdrawing your funds
For opening a new GIC you definitely need to call Hubert, since their rates seem to be about 0.05 percent higher, plus they alone offer the 1 yr quarterly interest cashable GIC.
