Any one have suggestions? I always just do it, then read here, and say darn I wish I had mentioned that too!

I say.
Better statements. Page numbering. They are a mess when you print doubled sided and have registered and non registered accounts. Maybe have, down load file for each type?

And the option at online GIC ordering to give maturity directions.

A printable concise summary of GIC order too, would be nice.

Good Ideas ⬆, GIC❗

Here's another one that comes to mind ...

Hubert recently gave us 'advance' notice of their latest Term rate changes ... something they don't usually do. We should ask them to do it (advance notices) All the time.

Next suggestion . . .

All great ideas !
Also, 1 yr GIC option in their RRIFs ( for Loonie ).

More features to their savings accounts to make it like EQ bank - eg. PAD, bill pay , mobile cheque deposit,ATM card, etc.

RESPs ?

I have told them on previous surveys that they need to improve their indigestible statements but nothing has happened.
I've told them before to offer one year RIFs but nothing has happened.
I told them before to give us advance notice of rate changes, and they have done it once or twice.

My batting average is terrible.

This time I told them I'd already told them, more than once, what needed improving and saw no value in repeating myself. I gave them lower ratings than before for service as I feel these issues are part of "service"; perhaps they will listen to that as it's easy to quantify.

Thanks for the support for raising these issues again.

Lol. Surveys are put out for different reasons, questions/ answers are engineered etc.

I thought of this before I started the post. What is the point of this survey and all the ones in the past? To benefit them or their customers? I think.....them as I too have not seen any changes/improvements to benefit the customer.

Many years ago the company I worked for, did anonymous employee surveys. I trusted they were anonymous. Then one of my supervisors pointed out that we were easily identified by, years of service, department, and report to manager. Each group went into separate envelopes too.

Later I became senior management and did one much longer one. This time I had to mail it in. I worked in Burnaby but mailed it from Alberta as I was on a business trip. I was now paranoid about expressing my honest opinion. And this was the last survey they offered to senior management. My first and last. ☹️☹️

The last question was....Do you think any changes will be made, from the results of this survey. Over 60% of us said NO.

After reading through everyone's comments so far (including Loonie's), I have to wonder if completing the Hubert survey is just a big waste of time. sf-confused

No❓

I am beginning to think that way too.

This will be my last one.

Same old, same old, bla bla bla and no customer recommended changes.

I do feel most surveys have an engineered agenda with engineered questions. Somehow they can always twist “any” response as a “good/excellent” result. I do also feel that complaining or honestly doing a survey/feedback helps a company improve at my expense. If you want an example, let me know.

What we think Hubert’s agenda for Feedback (they don’t say survey and I should have said Feedback, sorry) is for the customer but I don’t see it. Perhaps the engineered agenda is focused to Hubert only.

The company I worked for had a huge interest to detect dissatisfaction and potential unionizing.

I have come to the conclusion to not bother providing feedback. It is pointless and valueless.

Sadly, they don't seem that interested in our feedback. All that they do is use the data to reinforce their own product launch decisions. sf-cool

Sorry if that sounded too cynical. 😉

But really, what have we got out of these surveys in 10 years? A no-fee, but kind of ho-hum, Cash Back MasterCard, USD HISA with USD-to-USD EFT transfers (that was potentially good), and registered GICs.

Still, what are we left waiting on...
- better, clearer, and more detailed e-Statements and transaction histories;
- online T5s and other tax slips;
- a no-fee chequing account and/or debit card access (not that expensive to add); and,
- a straight up 1-year RRIF GIC or, heck, even their quarterly 1-year GIC in RRIF form

What product did they ask specifically about? That's usually what these surveys are good for...indicating what it is potentially coming down the pipe.

Cheers,
Doug

As the iconic environmentalist and urban advocate Jane Jacobs used to say in regards to municipal government,

"By the time they invite you to a community consultation, they've already decided what they're going to do." All you get to do is re-arrange the deck chairs.

Atta boy!

I hope they take this seriously. There is only so many times you can mention the same thing. Now it only festers with us and will likely lead to less confidence and removed deposits. Especially when we see we all have similar feelings about similar issues. I know it will for me.

Their feedback tool is worn out!!

I wonder if they still monitor this site?

And I like Loonies quote which makes me think about the past feedback requests as they were constantly appearing to be wanting a vote of confidence for a credit card. Then they offered a crappy, in my opinion, points card. I doubt if it is a popular choice. Why not fix the banking before you offer a credit card or something else?
