Take a look at your December 31 2023 statement. Those RRIF numbers “should” be the year end value. Then apply your age percentage to the total.
@mmit have you ever seen a merger NOT go through? The votes are minimal and it’s probably all the employees that vote yes in fear of losing their employment.
I believe if you transfer all RRIFs out, your mandatory payment is taken first. But if partial transfer and enough is left there it will come as per your planned date. But I could be wrong on that one.
2022 and 2023 payments should be similar as long as there has not been any in or out activity in 2022 or 2023. But the higher GIC rates in 2023 could affect a difference.
Oaken has been posting my 2024 payment for a few months.
Hubert won’t tell you right away as that request goes to the back office. Boo hoo. Hubert no longer have the phone support as they did before when one call did it all. Now you talk to a “ “ that refers the issue go back office…..that is if they understand the issue to explain it properly. And then does any one get back to you. As per my experiences, NO.
Both Oaken and Hubert will tell us soon, officially. Should be no later than receiving your December statement. If Hubert does same will be on your December statement. < === ooops that didn’t happen….maybe January! Oaken is in one of those annual statements to select and may show up soon for downloading, along with some other year end statements.
